Writing Time

To all who have been patiently awaiting Finding Home, your patience will be rewarded. I have taken time from full-time occupation to devote time and brain space to the completion of the sequel. The outline has been completed, and the first part (of five) has been written. Here are a few things to look forward to in the follow-up to Lor Banesmith:
  1. Learning how the world came to have three suns
  2. Understanding the nature of magic in Phinea
  3. Family reunions
  4. Conclusion of the story lines for Ross, Trathe, and the Aegis
I look forward to hearing your feedback and keeping you updated as the conclusion of the writing process draws nearer. As soon as I know when the book will be released, a countdown will be added to the blog page. Thank you all for your support.

    You mentioned the yellow crystal, in the book, but not what they do, I am looking forward to that too.
    orange: Emits light
    Blue: water element
    Green: Earth element
    Red: Fire element
    White: Air element

    also the crystals imply that the different races each have a connection with a particular element, the granach w/ fire, the dwarves w/ earth, and presumably the elves are air, and water is some kind of sea people.

    Thank you, Tom. These are excellent questions. White crystals are light magic, if one is able to use it, but just a source of light otherwise. Yellow also function as purely light but used to hold electricity as an element. The yellow lost its power with The Great Shift, which is discussed in my third book.
    Some species on the planet do have innate connections with Elements, but it is not universal. The loss of many Elemental species is also a product of The Great Shift. Water and Electricity were the two elements hit the hardest.
